Professional training of personnel via regional meetings or more private training programmes for individual member companies at head offices or factory sites will be an on-going feature for ICPA members. These are already being initiated at a number of plant sites and are proving extremely popular with those independent producers keen to ensure that their staff are given all the appropriate training opportunities. The secretariat is able to draw upon a pool of experience from within the organisation, as well from a number of outside experts, all professionals in their respective fields.

One of the most successful areas of training ICPA has initiated, has been the introduction of its E-Learning training courses. These on-line lectures and seminars are shown to be the most cost-effective way of staff and management training, allowing students to upgrade their knowledge levels by means of the latest computer training technologies from the office or off-duty at home. Over 1000 students have enrolled and completed courses and the programme for 2008 has now been published at:

ICPA members can nominate students to attend the CemNet E-learning courses at 50 per cent of the agreed fee structure. For specific application procedures please email: secretariat@icpass.org
